Before being promoted to broadcast producer, he began his career at CBS Pittsburgh in 1991 as a writer. Then he appeared in front of the camera, first as the Beaver/Butler Bureau Chief and then as the Westmoreland County Bureau Chief. He also worked for many years as a reporter and stand-in anchor for the 11 p.m. hour, and in 2020 he was promoted to host KDKA News at Noon.
